A Three month contract on offer in Federal Department located on the inner-south of Canberra.
This department has developed requirements for a storage solution that will scale sufficiently to meet predicted business requirements in the next five to seven years, while reducing the support burden via simplicity, process efficiency and automation, leading to a proportional reduction in the total support costs against the exponential increase in capability.
To support the delivery of a value for money outcome this client requires the services of a financial consultant to undertake a wide variety of duties such as:
- Develop of the Pricing Tender Response Schedule based on the statement of requirements including the Cost Models. The cost modelling is to ensure it is in accordance with Commonwealth Governments Cost Recovery Guidelines and withstand ANAO and Department of Finance scrutiny.
- Develop the financial evaluation instructions which form part of the Tender Evaluation Plan
- Undertake the head financial assessor role within the Finance Tender Evaluation Working Group.
- Undertake the role of the Tender Evaluation Working Group Financial Leader within the Finance Tender Evaluation Working Group.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and understanding of the following:
- Developing Pricing Evaluation Criteria
- Developing financial tender evaluation instructions including methodology to be employed.
- Financial Modelling of the Pricing responses including:
" Normalisation and notional adjustments
" Sensitivity analysis
" Net Present Value analysis
" Pricing assumptions and risks
" Value for money outcome; and
" Any other factors of relevance to the assessment
